PAS - Dulu Takbir, Sekarang Take Beer

At the height of the 1997-2000 anti-Mahathir, anti-Umno pro-Reformasi movement, many Umno members ran away into PAS. And later, when PKR was formed many jumped into this party also.
Surely one of the best car decals of that era was this brilliant idea by someone - you could see this slogan stuck on many cars and trucks and buses:
(It's a mixture of Bahasa and English, typical KL-style talk)

Dulu don't know,
Now dah jelas,
Dulu Umno,
Sekarang PAS!


Umno, as usual, was late to the trend (just like they are still slow in fighting the opposition in the internet). They came out with a slogan against this, a lame one:

Umno dulu, sekarang dan selamanya.


Now this party of independence has learnt.

The story is linked to the fact that PAS has failed to stop beer sales in Muslim-majority areas. Starting with Shah Alam, this thing will roll out into places like Keramat, Setiawangsa also (around the areas where I live).
Baguslah, sokong lagi Pakatan.

Anyway, one of the Umno banners say:
PAS - Dulu Takbir, Sekarang Take Beer.

Wah, dah pandai.
